Let’s face it: The economic challenges of the past few years have affected nearly every industry in the United States and around the world. The electrical distribution channel, which Milbank Manufacturing has served since 1927, is no exception.

That’s why we announced the creation of a new Venture Group in 2009, marking the beginning of a new era for Milbank. While the new Milbank PowerGen products division provides products complementary to our existing product lines, it’s also a little outside our normal offerings. First came Milbank PowerGen | HSB and Home Standby Generators powered by Briggs & Stratton and, more recently, Milbank PowerGen | Wind to service this growing market.

And we figured hey, while we’re thinking outside the box, we’d go a little further and introduce PowerBlog. Here, we’ll join the social landscape with articles about power and the electrical industry that we find interesting, And we’ll share company knowledge is the fast, efficient method that a blog allows.
